FUZE Code Studio for Nintendo Switch – Learn to Code on Nintendo Switch!

We have worked with FUZE Technologies for years and when, in a meeting a few weeks ago, they told us they had been accepted by Nintendo as an independent developer to bring their coding language- FUZE Code Studio – to Nintendo Switch, we knew this was big news.

FUZE have been teaching kids to code since 2013 using the FUZE personal computer and FUZE Code Studio, which is an incredibly accessible and easy to use programming language. FUZE Code Studio motivates and inspires users of all ages and abilities, leaving them wanting to learn more even if they have no prior experience of coding. It is the perfect stepping stone between visual coding simulators currently used in most primary schools and real-world languages like Python, Java and C++/# etc.

It means Nintendo Switch users will be able to code their own games and share the experience with friends and family – imagine creating your own game then transferring it to a big screen with multiple controllers so others can play your creations. Thanks to Nintendo Switch’s revolutionary design this becomes a reality – and coders will soon be learning how to interact with external devices, sensors and motion controls in ways not previously possible.

We announced the news yesterday, and in 24 hours we have secured FUZE coverage on the Daily Mail, Daily Star, The Next Web, Nintendo Life, Geeky Gadgets, Developer, Games Industry, The Verge and many more. The news has gone worldwide reaching far beyond the UK. FUZE Code Studio for Nintendo Switch will be available in Q2 2018. Pricing to be confirmed nearer the launch.

We look forward to continuing to work with FUZE on this incredible development – 2018 will be a fantastic year!
